Health centers get ACA funding boost to expand access to care

HHS expanded access to health care at local health centers and clinics by distributing approximately $67 million, including $19 million from the Affordable Care Act. Health centers are "instrumental to the successful implementation of the Affordable Care Act, not only as providers of care but also in linking individuals to coverage through outreach and enrollment in the health insurance marketplace," according to HHS.
