Mich. universities report growth in engineering programs

More students are seeking engineering degrees at Michigan universities. This is due in part to students knowing which majors lead to lucrative jobs, said Tom Wolff, assistant dean of engineering for undergraduate studies at Michigan State University. Some universities have launched programs to recruit and retain engineering students. The university's Cornerstone Residential Experience offers students a chance to live and work together and work with industry partners.
