Partnerships seek to help improve construction training

Some Cleveland, Ohio, corporations and public institutions are partnering with the city to bolster the area's construction-training programs and hire more local workers for future development projects. Companies are helping schools improve their programs to better prepare students for apprenticeships. Some high schools also will adjust their programs to help students earn certifications in specific trades.
