Polls find persistent confusion about ACA

Nearly 70% of respondents to a Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll of 1,000 adults said they do not understand all or part of the Affordable Care Act. Among the uninsured, 32% said they would be likely to use a public insurance marketplace, and 23% of people who already have an individual policy said they would turn to an exchange. A USA Today/Pew poll found that nearly 40% of the uninsured and 44% of young people do not understand that the ACA requires them to have health insurance.
