Sri Lanka bans imports from 4 Indian drugmakers

Citing quality issues, Sri Lanka has banned the import of drugs from India-based Laborate, Vivek, Bafna and Elysium Pharmaceuticals. Sri Lanka's Ministry of Health previously banned the import of drugs from Alvita Pharma, as well as specific batches of drugs from Karnataka Antibiotics and Pharmaceuticals, Kilitch Drugs, Claris Lifesciences and Elysium.
