Survey: The 72-hour work week is becoming a norm

The majority of executive, managers, and professionals spend an average of 72 hours a week on the job, according to a new survey. Respondents cited technology like smartphones for increasing their hours, with many indicating they were happy to be connected because they care about their jobs and colleagues, but resent when the connectedness is used as a crutch to manage organizational inefficiencies.
