U.S. FDA OK'd 110 generic meds from Indian pharma

The FDA has approved almost 290 abbreviated new drug applications since the start of the year, including at least 110 from drugmakers in India. The agency has intensified its inspections as the generic drug market expands. The FDA must use the same schedule for inspecting facilities whether they are foreign or in the U.S.
