While bourbons vary when it comes to ingredients, prices and other factors, one constant of the spirit is that it comes in glass bottles to ensure its quality is consistent. Since the 1800s, bourbon bottles have gone through trends including pressed glass featuring different designs and decanters available in a variety of shapes. Today, most bourbon bottles are on the plain side to make them more accessible to high-speed bottling lines and hand bottlers.
