Green hospital opens in Colorado

A $78.5 million, 60-bed hospital facility opened in Boulder, Colo., this week. The environmentally-sensitive construction of the hospital included the use of recovered fly ash, a by-product of coal-burning plants, added to the concrete, and fiberglass insulation that is 25% recycled glass.
