Patrick plan would push for three casinos in Massachusetts

Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick could announce a plan as early as today that would see the state issue licenses for three casinos. Citing their potential to spur economic growth, create jobs and generate new government revenue, Patrick will seek to license casinos in the western and southeastern parts of the state, as well as an area covering Boston and northern parts of the state. The licenses would be put up for competitive bid.
