California train crash prompts questions on rail system

Southern California has logged more deadly train crashes than any other metro area of a similar size, partly because the Metrolink shares tracks with freight trains more frequently than in other systems. The fatal train crash between a commuter train and freight train last week has raised questions about the state's rail system.
