U.K. scientists build interactive desks

Student desks that look and behave something like a bigger version of an Apple iPhone could fill the classrooms of the future, say the U.K. researchers who designed them. These interactive desks are configured so that they can be networked to a central SmartBoard to encourage student collaboration.
