Calif. water district installs 2 weather stations

The Marin Municipal Water District in California installed two meteorological stations to help residents conserve water. The stations measure humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, wind speed and air temperature. The goal is to help most gardeners -- who use 20% to 50% more water than necessary -- use less, according to the water district.
