Grenade scare raises alert at Tallahassee airport

Portions of the Tallahassee Regional Airport in Florida were evacuated on Wednesday after security screeners saw what appeared to be a grenade inside a carry-on bag. The airport was reopened about 10 minutes later when officials determined that the suspicious image on the scanner was actually a bottle of cologne and some hair clippers. "When certain things are turned in a certain manner … they can resemble other things," said Jim Durwin, assistant superintendent of airport operations.
