Money, bonuses and expense accounts can't keep employees as loyal as giving them meaningful jobs does, Scott McArthur writes: "People are driven as much or more by intrinsic meaning as they are by extrinsic rewards." To keep your best people around, ask your workers what role they would seek if money wasn't a factor, and remind them of their worth to the company, he advises.
