Technology could help schools get through swine flu outbreaks

The federal government has called on Microsoft and other companies to develop plans for students to continue learning in the event of widespread swine flu outbreaks and school closures. Microsoft's Web site already has a section where teachers can learn to use Office Live Workspace -- a program that allows educators to share content, lesson plans and curriculum with students online.
