Verizon CEO: FiOS, rural sales altering "topography"

Verizon Communications CEO Ivan Seidenberg told analysts Thursday that the sale of some of the company's rural phone lines to Frontier Communications, coupled with the success of its FiOS TV offering, was beginning to "change the entire topography of [the] company." He also said that his "thinking has matured" and that he was no longer concerned about the carrier's wireline losses.
