Diet for high blood pressure might fight kidney stones

The Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension, or DASH, diet, aimed at reducing blood pressure, appears to block the development of kidney stones, researchers found. Participants on the diet excreted more urine, and the urine contained more citrate, which inhibits calcium kidney stones.
