LaHood underscores the government's commitment to NextGen

Speaking at an aerospace luncheon on Thursday, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood echoed the current administration's commitment to a satellite-based ATC system, saying that the "best way forward for NextGen is [legislatively enacting] a 6-year plan" to fund and deploy the system. "Investment in aviation is an investment in America's future. This is not about election-year politics," added LaHood.
