ICCA seeks to gather support for U.N. chemical management initiative

The International Council of Chemical Associations has called for action to shore up the U.N.'s Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management program at the opening of the Third International Conference on Chemicals Management in Kenya. "Today, the chemical industry faces the task of driving innovation in order to develop new products and applications that solve world problems and enable a more sustainable future, while also ensuring the safety and protection of human health and the environment," said American Chemistry Council President and CEO Cal Dooley, who also serves as ICCA secretary.
