Advocates argue for Latin as part of U.K. curriculum

Politeia, a conservative think tank, has written a pamphlet appealing to U.K. Education Secretary Michael Gove to consider adding Latin to the languages that would satisfy curriculum requirements for students ages 11 to 14. The group fears that if Latin is not given such status, it will be neglected in schools.
