Apple's new iPhone offers seeds of future technologies

Apple's iPhone 5s contains nascent technologies that may provide limited functionality today but could become the basis for full-scale wearable devices and mobile-shopping tools in the future, analysts say. They point to the M7 motion-sensor chip, which the company could eventually import into a smartwatch to provide health and fitness applications. The new fingerprint scanner could turn the iPhone into a mobile wallet.
