China's digital media spending should rise 44.5% this year

Digital media spending in China is expected to grow 44.5% year over year, far outpacing the overall media growth rate of 6.9% in China, according to Carat. Spending on online video, search and mobile advertising is driving the trend. Digital media's share of overall global ad spending (18.3%) is now second only to television (43.8%), per Carat.
