ECB's bank review should include bond details, official says

Peter Praet, a member of the European Central Bank Executive Board, says banks' government-bond holdings should be outlined in detail in the central bank's assessment of lenders' balance sheets. "What markets and investors would like to know ... is the duration of government debt that you have in portfolios, what sovereign risk is and so on," Praet said. The ECB is set next month to offer more details about its asset-quality review.
