Fed chairmanship now "Yellen's to lose," analyst says

Though President Barack Obama has other options for Federal Reserve chairman, Vice Chairwoman Janet Yellen is now "the prohibitive front-runner," according to Chris Krueger, a senior policy analyst at Guggenheim Partners. She is thought to be more concerned about unemployment and financial regulation than was Lawrence Summers, who was a contender for the spot until he dropped out in recent days.
