GM looks to up game in electric vehicles

General Motors is aiming for a 200-mile range and a $30,000 price tag for its latest venture into all-electric cars, a company executive says. The hope is to simultaneously address sticker shock and range anxiety with one vehicle. In the meantime, GM is also working on a slightly less expensive Chevrolet Volt hybrid that would have a longer range using electric power than the current Volt.
