Miss America ratings are up, but NFL helps NBC win Sunday night

ABC's telecast of the Miss America pageant on Sunday garnered the competition's biggest audience overall and among the 18-to-49 demographic in nearly a decade, but NBC still won the night due to the strength of its "Sunday Night Football" franchise. NBC also placed first among 18-to-49-year-old viewers, followed by CBS, Fox, ABC, Univision and Telemundo.
