M&S goes mobile to get a true picture of factory life

Marks & Spencer has sealed a deal with the nonprofit Good World Solutions to directly query the factory workers who make the high street retailer's apparel, using mobile technology that's tailored to surveying people who may not know how to read and write. The project aims to get first-person feedback on factory and working conditions from 22,500 workers in 30 factories in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
