Report: Global trade managers must keep up on changing costs, regulations

International companies involved in global trade must keep up to date on new taxes and changing regulations and transportation costs amid the ever-growing global supply landscape, a report by SCM World states. Nearly half of respondents cited global transportation costs and shipment visibility among their top five challenges. More than half noted negative effects from preferential duty programs or free-trade agreements.
