Study predicts increase in corporate hotel prices next year

A study by New York University's Tisch Center for Hospitality forecasts a 5% to 6% increase in hotel room prices for business travelers next year, as hotels seek to drive negotiated rates amid improving demand. Bjorn Hanson, the Tisch Center's divisional dean, further predicts that companies will shift their hotel preferences to select-service and limited-service properties in response to rising costs.
