Is there a viable business model for 4G?

A host of forward-thinking companies including NTT DoCoMo, Samsung Electronics and Sprint Nextel are looking ahead to a day when consumers hook up to the high-speed Internet via 4G technology, considered to be the next frontier in wireless broadband. Despite 4G's promise, skeptics say it will be hard pressed to supplant fixed-line broadband as the dominant broadband technology.
