FDA wants children to read food labels

The FDA and nutrition experts are campaigning to teach children to read food labels and learn about nutrition themselves. Earlier this year, the agency teamed up with the Cartoon Network to launch a campaign aimed at encouraging children ages 9 to 13 to read the nutrition information on food labels, and next year it will launch a similar campaign for parents.
