St. Jude Medical's heart devices get FDA approval

The FDA has approved St. Jude Medical's Promote cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator and Current implantable cardioverter defibrillator. The products, which will be unveiled at a heart association meeting in November, are radiofrequency wireless devices designed to treat patients with heart failure and heart arrhythmias.
