Airline executives see fallout from financial crisis

Fluctuating fuel prices and a tight credit market will pose difficult problems for airlines next year, according to industry executives. Wolfgang Prock-Schauer, CEO of India's Jet Airways, said the financial crisis could have "grave implications for the industry, because it is very capital intensive," while Jean Christoph Debus, managing director of leisure carrier Condor, predicted higher credit costs for acquiring new planes.
