Survey: Construction officials remain optimistic in upstate New York

The construction industry in upstate New York remains steady, despite economic instability affecting most of the U.S., according to a recent survey by Bonadio Group. Officials are concerned about increasing fuel prices and health-care costs but remain cautiously optimistic. The firm found that 94% of companies participating posted a profit in 2006 and 2007.
