California's stem cell agency, Germany to collaborate for projects

The California Institute for Regenerative Medicine and the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research have signed a deal that will allow researchers in California and Germany to seek joint funding for stem cell research projects. CIRM said it will post in November the request for application for its stem cell transplantation and immunology grants as part of the initial collaboration on the international deal.
