Facebook better for the brain than Twitter is

Facebook makes the mind sharper by forcing users to make strategic decisions -- much like a puzzle -- but Twitter weakens memory. Tweets, which are short by nature, don't require much brainpower to process, says Tracy Alloway, a psychologist at the University of Stirling in Scotland. "Your attention span is being reduced and you're not engaging your brain," she said.
