Waxman plans to make push for network neutrality:

A network neutrality bill that's been introduced in the House by two Democrats has the backing of U.S. Rep. Henry Waxman, D- Calif., chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, Waxman said at a hearing Thursday. Separately, FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, during the same hearing, said he is in favor of legislation to revamp the Universal Service Fund program, so that monies used to subsidize phone lines in rural areas also can be used to boost access to the Internet.
