R.I. high school works to improve student-counselor relationships

A Rhode Island high school is altering the way it pairs students and guidance counselors, grouping them by grade level rather than last name. Educators say the structure will offer students a more personal experience because ninth-graders need different help from their guidance counselors than high-school seniors do. The change is also expected to allow counselors to become experts in subject areas.
