Red Cross unveils nurse-led disaster response model

The American Red Cross is implementing its nurse-led disaster health services community response model that allows nearly 5,000 Red Cross nurses to provide disaster services within their scope of practice and according to their licenses. The initiative aims to improve health care for survivors in communities hit by disasters.
