Group seeks improved education for students with severe disabilities

Students with the most severe disabilities need better workforce and post-secondary preparation, according to Collaboration to Promote Self-Determination. The group on Monday released recommendations for testing and instruction for this student population, including a call for instruction in self-advocacy, technology, social skills and independent work behavior.
