More infomercials offer text-to-buy option on second screen

TV's infomercials are beginning to take advantage of the second screen by offering text-to-buy options for those viewers with their phones handy as they watch. One such payment platform, Paywhale, is offered through Cannella Response Television. "The primary goal of any marketer is first and foremost to generate transactions. Mobile provides them with another tool to make that happen," said Cannella President Tony Besasie.
