States seek compromise on ACA Medicaid expansion

Indiana, New Mexico and Wisconsin are some of the states seeking to expand their Medicaid programs to include people earning up to 100% of the poverty level and direct people with incomes between 100% and 133% of the poverty level into insurance exchanges. The Affordable Care Act provides funding for states that expand Medicaid eligibility to 133% of the poverty level.
