With Apple's new iPhones going on sale in retail stores on Friday, critics have mainly showered praise on both the $199 5s and $99 5c models, although some reviewers said iPhone 5 owners could do without the upgrade. Reuters reported that Apple has provided a limited supply of the new iPhones to outlets and quoted one source as saying online pre-orders have proved surprisingly slow. For those interested in the 5C, Sprint will offer a rebate to new customers, which will effectively make the phone a freebie.
