Cities build fiber-optic networks to boost broadband

Chattanooga, Tenn., is one of a number of cities that have built high-speed fiber-optic networks in order to enhance broadband Internet access. Chattanooga's network began delivering broadband to high-end Internet subscribers this week, and is expected to reach about 39,000 residents by the end of the month.
