Colo. flooding hits many homes without flood insurance

Flooding in Larimer and Boulder counties, Colo., has damaged or destroyed more than 7,200 homes and businesses, officials say. The Federal Emergency Management Agency says fewer than 6,000 of those properties have flood insurance. The high proportion of uninsured could contribute to nearly $2 billion in property losses, according to EQECAT.
