Consumers lack details about drug availability, costs under ACA

Patient advocacy groups have expressed concerns over the lack of information available to consumers about prescription drug coverage and availability under insurance plans in the Affordable Care Act's state exchanges. States running the insurance marketplaces have yet to unveil details regarding which treatments will be covered, while only a small number of states have released data on how much patients will pay toward to the costs of drugs. The availability of assistance programs and coupon cards traditionally offered by drugmakers to help cover out-of-pocket costs also remains unclear.
