Feds issue model privacy notices for providers, payers

The HHS Office for Civil Rights and the ONC have published model notices of privacy practices that providers and payers must provide to patients and plan members as mandated under the HIPAA Omnibus Rule. The notices were released in different formats, including a booklet and a layered notice, and are customizable.
