The Good Bean sees snack potential in chickpeas

The Good Bean founder Sarah Wallace thinks chickpeas are poised to be this year's hot snack food. "They are crunchy and have a mouthfeel that's really addicitive. They are really tasty and satisfying, but you don't feel guilty after eating them because they are high in fiber and protein and low in fat," she said. The brand, founded in 2010, offers roasted chickpea snacks and chickpea-based Fruit and No-Nut Bars.
