Hampton Creek founder focuses on the right egg replacer for every job

Plant-based egg replacements have to be better and less expensive than eggs, said Josh Tetrick, founder of Hampton Creek Foods. "Our product is cheaper than egg, and just as good, if not better, at replicating its functionality," he said. The company employs a team of food scientists and biologists to create a line of egg replacers suited to different applications, such as baking or creating dressings and sauces.
